- If we had known what lay before us
- At the onset of our journey,
- Would we still have taken all the paths
- That brought us here today?
- Would I have walked around the puddles
- And lingered in the flowers
- That brightened up the countryside
- As I was on my way?
- Would you have walked beside me,
- To comfort me and guide me
- If you had seen the pitfalls
- And the potholes round the bend?
- If we had known what lay before us
- At the onset of the journey
- Would we have taken all the paths
- That brought us to this end.

- I care not how you touch me.
- I only care that you do.
- I care not where the kiss falls,
- As long as it comes from you.
- I care not that I am always below
- And you are always above.
- I only care that I continue
- To live in the warmth of your love.
- I care not to remember
- The memories of yesterday.
- And I look for tomorrow to bring
- Whatever tomorrow may.
- I care not for what might have been
- Nor what is yet to be.
- I only care that this moment
- Is the best that it can be.

- I remember just last springtime
- Robins flying, blossoms on the rise,
- We walked hand in hand together.
- We were lovers, you and I.
- What happened suddenly last summer?
- Where did all the laughter go?
- Can we endure the fading blooms of autumn?
- Will love perish in the bitter winter snow?
- Once I said I’d never leave you
- And you know I want to stay.
- But I’ve never been deceitful.
- What I felt, has slipped away.
- What happened suddenly last summer?
- Where did all the laughter go?
- Can we endure the fading blooms of autumn?
- Will love perish in the bitter winter snow?
