Submerged

September 20th, 2007 by Linda Jenkinson
  • In the half-light of morning
  • She struggles to lift the curtain
  • Of Darkness from her eyes
  • Daylight disguised by pillow of clouds
  • That beckon her to sleep
  • In hot liquid dreams
  • That shimmer with heat.
  • Tossed by waves of passion
  • And embraced by lusty current
  • She spirals down the whirlpool of life.
  • Strong arms pull her safely to shore
  • Caressed and aroused she awakens
  • To the island of You.
