Goodbye to Summer
September 21st, 2007 by Linda Jenkinson- In the autumn, there is sorrow,
- For tomorrow never comes,
- And all too soon becomes today.
- Blossoms fade
- As summer finishes her tapestry
- And slips away.
- Amid rustle of falling leaves
- She goes.
- Her leaves,
- The golden memories
- That warm us as we face impending snow.
